 Using the latest micro-suction technology, our Audiologist  will quickly, safely, and effectively remove any ear wax that could be causing you problems. 

 Hearing loss, itching  or discomfort in your ear may be signs of ear wax build-up. Ear wax can be relatively innocuous, but in some cases it can have a real impact on your quality of life.

Ear wax removal can be performed using a variety of methods including, micro-suction, water irrigation or manual extraction. Safely removing wax to restore hearing thresholds.

Ear wax removal at Check My Hearing Costs £70 for two ears and £50 for one. We currently do not charge for follow up ear wax removal appointments. 

Microsuction is a gentle, pain free process that uses a fine , low pressure suction  to safely remove earwax from the ear canal.  

Ear syringing  is using warm gentle water solution, pumped into the ear canal that flushes the ear clear of any wax blockage.

Manual  removal  is performed using specialist micro tools  when appropriate to physically pick the earwax out of the canal.  When any of the above methods are performed a qualified specialist will show you your ears both before and after the procedure using video otoscopy (camera).
